About me

I haven't always worked as a Web Developer. After finishing univeristy in 2015, I spent 5 years working as a Scientist in the medical devices field.

In 2018, I realised this career was not the path I wanted to follow, so I enrolled on a part-time masters degree in Computer Science, which set me on my current path.

In 2021, I started working as a junior developer at OddBalls, where I learned to build websites with Shopify. Around this time I started Geordie Digital and began freelancing, mostly building custom Shopify eCommerce stores for clients, as well as a few of my own personal projects.

Since 2023, I've been working as a Front-end Web Developer within the Marketing team at Newcastle University.
